Who can take the wreck diving course?
To enrol, you need:
- An Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
- Good buoyancy control and equipment handling skills
Can I enter inside the wrecks during the dives?
On the fourth dive of the course, we will put into practice the safe penetration techniques we have previously learned by entering the interior of the wreck to experience a unique and unforgettable adventure.
What are the best wreck diving sites in Tenerife?
Tenerife is home to several wrecks, but without a doubt, the most outstanding is the Peñón in Tabaiba: a sunken tugboat with multiple entry points, ideal for experienced divers. This is where we will conduct the course.
Do I need special equipment for wreck diving?
During the course, we provide all the necessary equipment. To safely dive in wrecks, it’s essential to have a dive torch, a reel with line for penetration, and of course, a dive computer.
