Deep Diving course
With Scubanana’s Deep Diving Course, you’ll learn how to plan and carry out safe dives down to 40 metres. If you already have diving experience and want to go further, this is your chance.
What does our Deep Diver course include?
This course is designed for divers with an Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent) who want to go deeper safely.
Includes:
- 4 ocean dives with a PADI instructor
- Theory lessons on dive planning and safety
- Excercises about environment perception, narcosis, buoyancy control and gas management
- Full equipment adapted for deep diving
- Stage handling (we carry a stage as an “emergency gas source”)
- Official PADI Deep Diver certification
What is deep diving?
Deep diving is considered any dive that exceeds 18 meters in depth. From that point on, the challenges shift: you need better buoyancy control, an understanding of pressure effects, and the ability to manage narcosis.
In addition, deep diving demands precise attention to bottom time, gas consumption, and no-stop (no-deco) time planning in order to avoid entering decompression.
It’s a unique experience that allows you to explore shipwrecks, underwater walls, and ecosystems that aren’t found in shallower waters.
