Tenerife is an island full of marine fauna, which allows us to enjoy a great variety of species without reaching great depths.

In Scubanana we are lucky to be located in the bay of Radazul, known for its good conditions and beautiful bottoms.

Below we will name some of the animals that we usually see during the try dives.

Parrotfisch
This is the only species of parrotfish whose female has a more striking coloration than that of the male.

Ornate Wrasse
It is one of the most abundant fish in the Canarian coastal bottoms.
Damselfish
The caudal region of this fish can adopt orange or pinkish tones in the case of some individuals.
rockfish
This fish spends a lot of time still on the bottom, relying on its camouflage ability.
sharonose-puffer
This little fish is able to swell like a balloon when it feels threatened

ringneck blenny
He loves to hide in crevices and caves where he only shows his head, striking for the presence of his supraorbital tentacles.
lizardfish
It is a predator of various species of fish, which it sees half-buried in the sand or camouflaged.
Saupe
It has fishing interest and, in the Canary Islands, it is usually caught with a purse seine and trawl gear called “salemera”.
atlantic cornetfish
This fish presents a very curious behavior that consists of accompanying other fish when they swim.
Arrow crab
It is also known as spider crab.
fireworm
When he feels attacked, he spreads his white sedes as a defense.
